Advantages and Disadvantages of Moving
Ok, let's start with the advantages. A new home equals new possibilities, new neighbors and new job opportunities. You have a chance to get away from it all and start fresh. I've read in numerous articles that one of the reasons people feel bad is their surroundings. So, when you change your location you actually have a chance to start feeling good. The new challenges will make you stronger and will put your to the test. Just the simple act of packing your items for your move is a challenge enough.
The disadvantages: there is a lot of stress involved in the whole process of moving house. You have to pack all your items, clean your old home and make arrangements for a moving van. Fortunately, just hiring a moving company can save you a great deal of headaches. Removal companies take care of almost all aspects of your house move, from packing your items to transportation. Some of them even offer end of tenancy cleaning. All you have to do is arrange parking space and call your utility companies to let them know of your move.
Many other things could be said but here are two things I have learned through moving a lot. First, keep your mind open. Not everything is going to go according to the plan, and sometimes the best surprises are unexpected. Second, choose your neighborhood very carefully for your new home. Moving into a neighborhood that you feel good in can make the whole difference between a wonderful and a not-so wonderful experience.
